I'm Spooky, one of the clan leaders of /eVo/. Figured it was time I stop in here. I believe marx and Luckystrikes already are known around these parts.

This is part an intro/hello and part a 'who do I talk to' post.
One of my fellow Clan leaders was banned last night from the DN Eagle server. He has demos and a condump of the event. Apparently he killed too many people in spawn from battlements and was unceremoniously slapped and kicked. The admin did not reveal who they were or else I'd be addressing them specifically.

I'm just here to ask he be unbanned please.

It's maybe a mistake, but if the admin ban him for a good reason, you can't do a lot. :z

Who is the kicked/baned player? If he was spawnkilling and admins warned him, we can actually ban him for that. It's only a temporary ban.

Give me his IP number and nickname in private. We'll give him a second chance if he want to play here. All players in this server are welcome but off course, they have to follow our server rules.

(Oh, and...i didn't ban him, i don't even know who he is...)

First of all, welcome to DN forums, Spooky.

It's me who banned /eVo/soulforged for multiple spawn kills even after multiple warns / kicks. Even I have a demo of that incident.

There's a discussion going on in admin forums regarding the same and everything is wrapped up. You may ask Marx for more details and he may even be able to provide with the screenshot / copy-paste of that thread.

Marx has already spoken to me and I saw all 5 of Soulforged's demos from that night.

Might I make a small suggestion per spawn killing? Up the respawn protection timer a bit if you want to discourage Spawn killing along with warnings. People think twice when they use a clip up and then get owned due to protection being on Smile

@ |KW| David - Oh Hai there. BTW, KW are no longer ban on sight at evo, so long as you don't recruit there again. It's not nice and makes me grumpy.
