Hi!

I've been playing UrT now for a few years now. I first started playing in my lunch breaks at work.

I tended to just 'play for fun' as in just join any old server and play but I've played on this server more than any of late and wanted to make it official as I love playing it!

I've played FPS pretty much all my life from the original Doom & Wolfenstien 3D (yup i'm THAT old) going through Quake then Half-Life, CS, Q3, Killzone and beyond!

I'm not a fan of the CoD series or Halo but that's me.

I write articles on FPS's on various blogs about tactics, weapon loadouts and game engines.

I play both on consoles (you'll notice my avatar is from Killzone) & PC & enjoy them both. I don't believe in one is better than the other, they're just different.

I like UrT mainly because it's a hell of a lot of fun to play & I love the fact it's a simple yet complex engine that you really can have fun with! & it's not just about gaining XP.

I'm not exactly the best shot in the world but I'm pretty good!

I tend to play two types of strats I either 'run & gun' when a pure assualt is needed or 'hold and secure' I'm not the best sniper in the world & I find UrT too much fun to just snipe but I always play for the objective & use the chat for more than 'WtF CmpinG is 4 N00bs' I believe that a good strategy with good communication FtW is better than a good K/D.

I've never really joined a clan on UrT but that would be great!

Yeah the first Doom was immense! It's hard to think that Doom was THE FPS at the time! I used to play it on my school network when I was 11 & we used to play the multiplayer during lesson times hahaha!

How do i apply for clan membership?

if you want to join just play on the server and ask high ranked DN member to check you out. Have in mind that the |DN| are recruit and the {DN} are the members?regulars?pros? this tag changed its meaning a lot. So if you see DN guys that have different tag then they are probably the admins that you can apply to. But if I see you on the server and if you are up to the clan then I belive I can give you a "recomendation" and I think that would mean a lot. But anyway, good luck.

I played Doom 3 on PC a while back & I used to play it on my friends Xbox a few years back and had a lot of fun!

My score ratio depends on the game & how I feel like playing

My UrT score ratio as my K/D is roughly at a 1.9 at the moment

I've just played a 10 minute TDM on a public server to post my score.

I've been playing Quake 4 all day so it took me a while to get used to the weapons on UrT:)



I was LAG-KILLED twice I went into a hornets nest and the dreaded 'CONNECTION INTERRUPTED' flashed and I awoke at my spawn...annoying

the score doesnt matter for ME is important if you can move and how are u handling certain situations, if I where to spec you.

Score isn't the most important thing for me

like I said I like to play tactically for instance I'll draw the fire of a sniper to reveal his/her location then relay that to my team-mates or if I see a couple of dudes camping out I'll relay that info to my team-mates and work as a squad to flank them.

I just had a quick game on your server playing as BLUE I saw three REDS run up the rail tunnel towards the bridge, I relayed that info to my my team mates and then 4 of my team took them on and quickly fragged them
